Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FilesSnap handles information when you use our website. We keep it short and honest. In brief: the tool works inside your browser, and we do not ask you to create an account or share personal details.

Information we do not collect

We do not require a name, email address, phone number or password. The text you type into the tool is processed on your own device. We do not send it to our servers, we do not save it in a database, and we do not read it. When you press Copy, the result is created locally and goes straight to your clipboard.

Information that may be collected automatically

Like most websites, the service that hosts this page may record basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the time of your visit. This data helps keep the site secure and working. Advertising partners, including Google, may also collect information through cookies and similar technologies, as explained in the cookies section below.

Cookies and local storage

FilesSnap itself does not use cookies to track you. However, we use Google AdSense to show ads, and Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com, or at www.aboutads.info for other vendors. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies and site data at any time.

Third-party services

FilesSnap may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies before sharing any information. If the hosting platform provides its own tools, its privacy policy also applies to your visit.

Google AdSense: we use Google AdSense to display ads. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. You can learn more at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Adsterra advertising

We also show ads from Adsterra, an advertising network. Adsterra and its partners may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to show ads, measure how they perform and limit how often you see them. These partners may collect information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. You can learn more in Adsterra's privacy policy, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use FilesSnap, for example which pages are visited, how long visits last, which country visitors come from and how they found the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your browser, device type and approximate location. This data is reported to us in aggregate and does not tell us who you are. You can learn how Google uses this data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Messages you send us

If you email us, we will see your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to reply, solve your problem and improve the site. We do not sell it or share it for marketing. We keep messages only as long as needed for that purpose.

Children

FilesSnap is a general audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data security

Because your text stays in your browser, the risk is low. Still, no online service is completely secure, so avoid typing passwords or private information into any web tool, including this one.

Your rights

Depending on your country, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. Since we collect almost none, there is usually nothing to remove, but you can contact us to ask.

Privacy rights for US residents

If you live in a US state with its own privacy law, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Utah, you may have extra rights over your personal information. These can include the right to know what is collected, to ask for it to be deleted, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.

FilesSnap itself does not sell your personal information, and the text you type never leaves your device. Google, our advertising partner, may use cookies to show personalized ads, which some state laws treat as "sharing". You can turn off personalized ads at any time in My Ad Center or at adssettings.google.com, and you can use your browser's privacy settings or a Global Privacy Control signal to limit tracking. When Google shows a privacy message for your state on this site, you can use it to make your choice.

To ask a question about your rights, email us at minhazulhoque752@gmail.com. We will reply within a reasonable time and will not treat you differently for asking.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
